We first met Craig & Vanessa back in 2005. We had been badly let down by another caretaking service provider & we were advised to contact Vanessa, who stepped into the breach immediately
& took over both our properties with only a few days notice. They have continued to look after our two properties in Mullion, Cornwall ever since. Both Vanessa & Craig have always been very service focused & have looked after our properties as if they were their own. Over the years they have had to deal with a number of issues & have done so with efficiency & diplomacy. They have not only provided an excellent cleaning & handover service but also sourced a number of excellent subcontractors who have provided rapid & cost effective repairs or additional services such as gardening and window cleaning.We have always used Classic Cottages as our letting agents, who are known to be very demanding in their expectations of the way in which properties are presented and maintained. They also score each property from the results of the questionnaires they receive. It is a credit to Vanessa & Craig that both properties have achieved a score of 90%+ for cleanliness over the last 5 years. I would have no hesitation in recommending Vanessa & Craig to anyone based on the cost effective, efficient and focused service we have received over the last 7 years.
In my roll as director of our busy letting agency I have known Vanessa & Craig for over 7 years. While not working for us directly they do look after, clean and caretake for many of our local properties.

Having renovated our holiday bungalow to a high standard, we were really concerned about how and who could keep an eye on the property for us in the closed season, and who would clean and handle the customers’ changeover.
We landed on our feet when we found South Cornwall Caretakers. They give the best possible service they can.
Not only do they look after the changeover magnificently, cleaning the property thoroughly and laundering the linen to a high professional standard, they can also arrange for a gardener to look after the outside. They really appreciate that first impressions count.
